Diseño y evaluación de un programa de turismo activo y cultural en Santa Clara (Cuba)

Objetivos: El objetivo de la presente investigación fue diseñar y evaluar un programa de turismo activo y cultural en Santa Clara (Cuba).
Métodos: El trabajo se llevó a cabo en el hotel Los Caneyes (Santa Clara, Cuba). En el estudio participaron trabajadores y clientes del hotel. Se emplearon diferentes métodos de nivel teórico y de nivel empírico. Los métodos de nivel teórico fueron: análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción e histórico-lógico. Los métodos de nivel empírico fueron: investigación bibliográfica y documental, entrevistas, observación, encuesta y criterio de usuario. El análisis estadístico se realizó con el programa estadístico SPSS 23.
Resultados: El programa de animación turística se estructuró a partir de la teoría y los resultados de las técnicas e instrumentos aplicados, e incluyó actividades deportivas (ciclismo, gimnasia acuática, juegos deportivos, y estiramientos) y culturales (visita a lugares emblemáticos, espectáculos variados con artistas locales, y degustación de cócteles nacionales). La evaluación de este programa de turismo mostró que los clientes del hotel estaban satisfechos con el mismo y que el personal del hotel estaba capacitado para aplicarlo satisfactoriamente.
Conclusiones: Por tanto, el programa de turismo presentado en este artículo puede ser tomado como ejemplo para ofrecer a los clientes de hoteles un turismo activo y cultural.
